Lagardére Travel Retail ehf. started operations in Iceland in 2015 and is owned by Lagardère SCA in France and NQ ehf., an Icelandic company. The company won a tender for food and beverage at Keflavík Airport, where the offices are based. The company in Iceland has about 200 employees over the summer and about 150 employees during the winter season. Lagardére Travel Retail ehf. is one of the largest food retailers in Iceland.
